Beautiful Sterling Silver Turquoise Enamel Vesta Matchbook Case 1934 Antique

Description

A beautiful rare Art Deco solid sterling silver and enamel vesta or matchbook case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1934 with the markers mark being that of the Adie Brothers Ltd. It has been beautifully made having an turquoise enamelled front exterior with the back being engine turned. It is in very good condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The enamel is complete and free from chips repairs and cracks. A couple of burn marks inside see photo. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (6cm) across by 1.75 inches (4.5cm) wide and weighs 40 grams. A beautifully designed piece.
