Rare English Oxford University Sterling Silver Enamel Cigarette Case 1938 109g

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful rare English solid sterling silver and enamel cigarette case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1938 with the makers marks being HCF. It has been beautifully made being decorated with the enamelled crest of Oxford University. The inside has been gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the enamel is complete and free from chips, cracks, scratches, and repairs. Light spots to the enamel. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.6cms) wide by 3.25 inches (8.2cms) and weighs 109 grams. A beautifully designed rare piece.
