Description

High quality heavy English antique solid sterling silver asparagus, vegetable, or sandwich serving tongs. They are hallmarked for London 1931 with the makers mark being DF. They have been made to what is termed the Hanoverian Pattern. They are highly sprung and in good working order. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure a touch under 9 inches (22.2cm) long over 1 inch (2.9cms) wide and they weigh an impressive 182 grams. Super quality examples.
