Antique Georgian Sterling Silver 'Birds' Coffee Pot 1779

Description

This is a beautiful antique Georgian hallmarked solid sterling silver coffee pot measuring 12? (31 cms) tall x 8 1/4? (21 cms) across from handle to spout with a 2 pint capacity.

The condition is excellent with no damage – any marks you can see are just reflections and there are no inscriptions or monograms - and it has a super decoration of flowers, leaves and birds.

It’s hallmarked for London 1779 with the silversmiths mark for John Schofield.

It weighs 935 grams / 30 troy oz which gives you an idea of the quality and inside is clean and perfectly usable.

This coffee pot will come with a certificate of authenticity.
