Beautiful 800 Solid Silver Snuff Pill Trinket Box C1940 55g

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful possibly German solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the 800 silver standard mark only. I would date it to c1940-1950. It has been superbly made being cast with a classical 18h century scene. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tightly. It measures over 2 inches (5.5cms) across by 0.25 inch (1.3cms) tall and weighs 55 grams. A very pretty piece.
