Antique Solid Silver Stilton Scoop

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a Sterling silver stilton scoop. It has a simple Old English pattern handle with no engravings. It is good quality, weighing approximately 81g.

It measures approximately 7 1/2" (19cm) long and the scoop itself is 2" (5cm) long x 1 1/4" (3cm) wide.

It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1908 and the makers Brewis & Co.

It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
