Description

A striking vintage silver and guilloche enamel Brooch. This fabulous brooch is wonderfully styled and is coloured with the most vibrant blue guilloche enamel with silver around the edges. On the back is a good fastening pin. Here the designers mark for Knut A Rasmussen is visible, he produced his pieces in Oslo and died in 1950's. Also marked '925 S, Norway sterling'. Rasmussen produced very unusual modernist jewellery - very much a forerunner his jewellery is admired and very collectable.

Great for a collector of Norwegian jewellery. Unusual brooch and in great condition.

Period: circa 1940's.
