An Unusual Georgian Pierced Silver Tea Caddy Spoon

This delightful and unusual example is a George III silver caddy spoon, dating from the early 19th Century. The handle is gently curved and decorated with diamond and notch engraving. To the top is a vacant cartouche The bowl is shaped, with a row of pierced stars and has stipple engraved patterns. A lovely and practical piece, both for the collector and the tea enthusiast.
