Regency Rosewood X Stool

Description

A large late Regency/Early Victorian rosewood X-stool of a good original colour and patina: Rococo design with finely carved c-scrolls and handsome turned and carved central stretcher. Recently re-covered in fine red and gold silk.

Good and sturdy but has some old breaks which were previously reinforced from below with old steel.
