Description

These are a pair of antique Old Sheffield Plate wine coolers. Of traditional campagna shape. Circular round pedestal base with a part fluted decoration. Gadroon mounted to top. The main body has applied shields with a crest of a barking dog on the one side and an armorial of a heraldic crest on the other. Two handles on either side adorned with acanthus leaves. c.1830 British made. These are sold in original condition with copper revealed mainly on raised parts. No inner sleeves.
