Elegant Cased Set of Silver Teaspoons & Sugar Tongs Sheffield 1899

An exceptionally elegant set of Victorian silver teaspoons and sugar tongs, all in the original case. The engraving to all of the pieces is stunning (see images) and the hallmarks on each are clear and crisp for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark of 1899, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker's mark for the silversmiths: A Willis & Co. All are in super condition.

 

The set comes in the original case, which is in great condition on the inside, however, the outside of the case is scuffed in certain areas (see images), commensurate with age and use.

 

A gorgeous set, would make a fabulous gift, especially for a wedding.
