Mint English Victorian Sterling Silver Vinaigrette Box 1852 Antique

Description

A rare English Victorian solid sterling silver vinaigrette. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1852 with the makers mark being that of Edward Smith. It has been superbly made being engraved with a scroll design with the cartouche being engraved with the initials MCJ. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.6cm) across by 0.75 inch (2cm) wide by 0.25 inch (0.8cm) tall and weighs 10 grams. A very high quality piece.
