Superb German Solid Sterling Silver Serving Tongs C1920 Antique 76g

Description

High quality German solid silver vegetable or sandwich serving tongs. They are hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark along with the makers mark being that of Lutz & Weiss who operated in Pforzheim from 1882. They have been superbly designed with the grips being of shell form - maybe for severing seafood? They are in good working order and are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 7 inches (17.8cm) long by 2 inches (59cm) wide and weighs 76 grams. Super quality examples.
