Description

A super quality English solid sterling silver Royal letter opener. It is hallmarked for London 1937 and is marked with the makers mark and the retailers mark (RE Stone & Asprey London). It has been superbly made having a cast terminal in the form of the Royal crown and the initials GVI for George. It is is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 8.25 inches (21cm) long by almost 1 inch (2.4cm) wide and weighs 46 grams. A very well designed piece.
