Fine Silver Cream Jug Chester 1905 by Stokes & Ireland Ltd

Description

A very fine solid silver, helmet form cream jug.  This simple early 20th century design is charming.  There is an attractive protruding border around the top edge and base of the jug, and it has a neat handle.  Hallmarks are visible on one side for Chester 1905 made by the silver maker Stokes & Ireland Ltd.  The Lion Passant, indicating the finest sterling silver is also visible.  

 

An elegant jug, perfect gift for any occasion.

 

Condition:  In lovely condition

 

Measurements:  Height (to top of handle): 10.5 cm   Width (spout to handle): 9.5 cm    Depth: 5.5 cm

 

Weight:  95.8 grams
