A beautiful English Victorian antique solid sterling silver holy communion chalice or goblet. It is hallmarked for London 1891 with the makers mark being that Mappin & Webb (John Newton Mappin). It has been superbly designed being engraved with the star designed. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) tall by 1.5 inches (4cm) across the rim by the same across the base and weighs 42 grams. A very good quality well made piece.
