Description

A beautiful German Hanau export solid silver table snuff or trinket box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau makers marks an dthe 800 standard marks. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly made being embossed with a classical design. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide by 0.75 inch (0.8cm) tall and weighs 50 grams. A very pretty piece.
