The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The cat is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1908, with the maker's mark of Adie & Lovekin Ltd. The silver is in excellent condition and the navy blue velvet cushion looks to be original.
Cat pin cushions don't come around very often and this is a marvellous example.
