Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It has no engravings or embossing and is a lovely plain polished silver. It stands solidly and sturdy on three very attractive hoof feet. The hallmarks on the base are crisp and clear for the London Assay office with a date mark 1931, along with the maker’s marks for Crichton Bros. Crichton Bros 22 Old Bond St London

An exceptional and tray. Would make a wonderful gift or could be used as a presentation trophy! It is also a great heavy gauge of silver (178grams).
