Fine Silver Card Tray 6'' Diameter London 1931 by Crichton Bros

A particularly fine and beautifully proportioned  (15 cm (6 inch) diameter), solid silver card tray. The tray has a shaped circular form with stylish raised piecrust rim which is particularly attractive.  It has no engravings or embossing and is a lovely plain polished silver.   It stands solidly and sturdy on three very attractive hoof feet.  The hallmarks on the base are crisp and clear for the London Assay office with a date mark 1931, along with the maker’s marks for Crichton Bros. An exceptional and tray.  Would make a wonderful gift or could be used as a presentation trophy! It is also a great heavy gauge of silver (178grams).
