Description

These are gorgeous! A pair of graduated, solid sterling silver jewellery boxes made by Birmingham silversmith E S Barnsley & Co.

They are hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 and 1920 and feature beautiful tortoiseshell lids overlaid with a delicate floral silver pattern. The inside of the larger box is finished with creamy velvet and silk, the smaller box is all silk. The condition of both boxes is excellent.
