Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The stem is knobbed in the centre with a circular splayed foot, also decorated with quatrefoil design. Clear hallmarks are visible just below the top rim for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1870, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker's mark for the silver-maker: Robert Harper.

A lovely goblet, suitable as a gift, or would make a super presentation trophy. Also great for a new baby / Christening.
Condition: In lovely condition. There is a very light indentation around the base rim, which we mention for complete accuracy. Engraving has been removed from the cartouche.
