Pair of Sterling Silver Serving Spoons Rat Tail Trefid 1908 Antique 102g Cased Liverpool

Description

A superb cased rare pair of English solid sterling silver serving spoons. They are hallmarked for London 1908 with the maker's mark being that of Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson & David Landsborough Fullerton), retailed in Liverpool. They have been well made to what is termed Rat Tail Trefid pattern of the 17th century. They are in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 8 inches (20cm) long by over 2 inches (5.3cm) wide and have a combined weight of 102 grams. A rare very nice quality set.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
