A superb quality late Victorian solid silver cigarette box by much sought after maker, Sampson Mordan & Co. The generous sized box with silver gilt and cedar lined interior is fully hallmarked for London 1900.

The box all in excellent condition throughout with no damage at all; it has been professionally repolished. The hallmarks to the lower section of the box are rubbed. The hallmarks to the lid section are clear. The retailer is also identified as H Greaves.

A good example, of large size and quality.
