Antique Silver Plated Biscuit Warmer By Fenton Brothers C1880

This is an antique silver plated folding biscuit box or biscuit warmer. Made by Fenton Brothers. Their makers mark together with a diamond registration kite mark is stamped underneath. c.1880 British made. Two shell shaped sides fold down to reveal two finely pierced trays. These trays lift together and slide down. The frame is realistically modelled as twigs. This has been replated and gilded.
Height is 24 cm (9.5”)
Length is 18 cm (7”)
