Superb German Solid 800 Silver Table Box C1920 Antique Roses 40g

Description

A beautiful German solid sterling silver snuff or table box. It is marked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 standard mark and makers mark of Martin Mayer. I would date it to c1920s. It has been beautifully made with the lid being decorated with roses as are the sides. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the top closes tightly. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.5.cm) across by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall and weighs 40 grams. A very pretty piece.
