Impressive Beautfully Enamelled Brooch by Aksel Holmsen

1940 - 1960
Description

An impressive Brooch by the Norwegian silversmith Aksel Holmsen. Unusual and striking shape, the brooch is enamelled in the most stunning sage green colour.  The brooch is silver and has a gold coloured coating.  On the back are the marks for Aksel Holmsen - Norway Sterling 925s. There is a good fastening pin on the back.

 

A dazzling brooch - great for a collector of vintage Norwegian designer jewellery.

 

Condition:  Great pre-owned condition.

 

Period: Mid century.

 

Measurements:  Height:  3 cm      Width:  4.5 cm      Weight:  4.6 grams
