This is an unusual novelty antique silver plated jam or preserve dish. In the shape of a military cap. Retains its original glass liner that has a dimpled diamond cut. The lid sits snugly on top and has a bun finial. The military cap has engine turned sides, a fixed chin strap and a shaped visor with a round badge embossed with swirls. Simply marked EPNS with a registration number 60270 stamped to the side. c1920 British made. This has been replated
