Queen Victoria 1892 Coin Medal Topped Sterling Silver Box 1980 46g

Description

A very nice quality English solid sterling silver trinket box. It is hallmarked for London 1892 with the makers marks being AJP. It has been unusually designed being of circular form with its lid being made from a 1892 silver coin or medal. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.7cms) across by 0.75 inches (1.8cms) tall and weighs 46 grams. A very nice quality piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
