186g 12inch Sterling Silver Farmer Family Crested Basting Spoon 1854 Antique

Description

A superb large heavy English Victorian solid sterling silver basting or serving spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1854 with the makers marks being that of Henry Hyde. It has been superbly designed being made to what it termed Kings Pattern with the terminal being engraved with a crested used by the Farmer or Farmer family. It is in superb condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 12 inches (30.2cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.5cm) wide and weighs 186 grams. An very high quality nice clean piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
