Stunning Sterling Silver Toothpick Box 1911 Antique 56g

1900 - 1920
Description

A super quality English antique solid sterling silver toothpick box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1911 with the markers mark being rubbed. It has been stylishly designed being of elongated form with the cartouche being engraved with the initials MH. The lid closes tightly and the inside is richly gilded. It is is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, single tiny dimple to the side - see final photo. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.7cm) across by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide by 0.75 inch (2cm) tall and weighs 58 grams. A very high quality piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
