In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The base is weighted and it has both of its original removable sconces. They are both clearly hallmarked on the base and the tops for Thomas Bradbury & Sons, Sheffield, 1891.
They are in excellent condition for their age. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and small knocks on the tops and some minor dings commensurate with age but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
