A superb Edwardian solid silver buckle in an unusual heart shape, and beautifully designed with leaves and swirling patterns. The reverse side of the buckle bears the hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1911 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver on one side of the buckle with the maker''s mark for Tozer, Kernsley & Fisher. Partial hallmarks can also be seen on the other buckle half.
A lovely buckle, and unusual in design, great for a Nurse''s graduation.
