This is unusual - an antique solid sterling silver egg coddler dating from the Edwardian era.
it is hallmarked for Sheffield 1908 with the maker''s mark for Mappin & Webb. All relevant pieces carry conforming hallmarks with the exception of the egg holder, which is silver plated.
It is in marvellous condition.
