Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Double Sovereign Case 1898

Description

This is a lovely antique Victorian sterling silver double sovereign case which will take a full sovereign on one side and a half sovereign on the other.

It measures 2 1/4? (5.5 cms) x 1 1/4? (3 cms) and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1898 with the silversmiths mark for the Rolason Brothers.

It’s in super condition and the sovereign areas spring as they should.

It weighs 32.3 grams and there are no inscriptions or monograms - please note that the coin is not included.

This sovereign case will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
