Superb Indian Solid Silver Pebble Tobacco Box C1890 Antique 90g

Description

A beautiful rare solid silver Indian tobacco box. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1880 almost certainly made in Kutch. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The lid fits tightly and the inside it clean. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.7cm) across by 2.25 inches (5.6cms) wide and weighs 90 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
