Rare Solid Sterling Silver Lighthouse Cigar Table Lighter 1909 Antique Novelty

Description

A beautiful top quality rare English solid sterling silver table cigar lighter. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1909 with the makers mark being that of Heath and Middleton of Hukin and Heath famous for producing Cristopher Dresser designs. It has been superbly designed in the form of a light house. It would have been used for gents to light their cigars as they wished. The top section can be removed and the bottom glass section acts as an ashtray. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the odd faint mark, there are no chips cracks or repairs to the glass. It of course needs a cord wick and a liquid combustible but these can be bought online. It measures approx. 5.25 inches (13.4cms) tall by 4 inches (10cms) wide and weighs 340 grams. A beautifully made very rare piece.
