Description

This is an exceptional large antique silver plated toast rack by Elkington & Company. Their makers mark is stamped to the side bearing a date letter K for 1896 together with a diamond registration kite mark underneath. Standing on two decorative feet with leaves above a ribbon and bow with a tassel. This has 7 bars that will hold 6 slices of toast. The fan shaped sides are engraved with wheat. The central handle is loop shaped and is embossed with wheat. British made. This has been resilvered.

Length is 26 cm or 10.25 inches
