Fine Silver Nursery Rhyme Spoon Hallmarked Glasgow 1930 by W H Collins & Co

Description

An adorable solid silver child's nursery rhyme spoon. A lovely design with a nicely shaped bowl (very suitable for feeding a baby or young child) and a charming handle featuring a baby in a cradle depicting the 'Mary had a little lamb' children's rhyme, with the words 'Mary had a little lamb' also embossed (see images). On the back of the bowl clear hallmarks are visible for the Glasgow Assay Office with a date mark for 1930 and maker's marks for W H Collins & Co.

 

Wonderful collector's spoon, especially as this item is Glasgow silver!

 

Condition: This spoon is in great antique condition.
