Description

A good late Victorian solid silver glass mounted claret jug by Hukin & Heath, hallmarked London 1901. A beautiful crystal cut body with hobnail and wrythen design, topped with simple yet stylish silver mount with triangular box spout and curved handle.

In excellent condition throughout, having been professionally polished, the glass free from chips; the hallmarks to the collar are rubbed but clear to the lid; there is a very small and discreet crease dent to the handle, mentioned only for accuracy. A fine claret jug, very useable.
