Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Sovereign Case 1888

Description

This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked solid sterling silver sovereign case measuring 1 1/4? (3 cms) across and hallmarked for Birmingham 1888 with the makers mark for Joseph Hawkins.

It’s in excellent condition, it weighs 17 grams and the area inside springs as it should.

It has super engraved decoration on both sides and a blank cartouche on the front.

This lovely sovereign case will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.

Please note that the coin does not come with the case it is for show purposes only.
