Description

Size: 7ft 1in x 3ft 3in (216 x 100cm).

Antique Baluch rug from Khorasan province of Eastern Persia. A Baluch rug with a mina khani design on a dark indigo blue field.

Circa 1900.

A good Baluch rug with a mina khani type floral design, surrounded by the large classic flowering tree border. The colours are excellent with madder red, ivory, aubergine and dark indigo blue. The rug retains its original decorative end finishes at both ends.

The rug is in good condition with slight even wear and good pile.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
