German Secessionist 800 Solid Silver Dish Bowl 1900 Stunning Antique Art Nouveau

Description

A beautiful German solid silver Art Nouveau / Secessionist bowl. It is hallmarked with the German 800 silver standard mark and makers marks. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully made having large swing handle and has been vibrantly gilded inside. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the glass liner is perfect although it rides up a fraction, it should settle once there is weight inside it. It measures approx. 9.25 inches (23.4cms) tall to the top of the handle in its upright position by 4.75 inches (11.6cms) wide and weighs 466 grams including the liner , 110 grams excluding it. A beautifully designed piece.
