Pretty English Sterling Silver Wreath Letter Opener 1909 Antique

Description

A beautiful solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1909 with the makers marks being that of James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin). It has been superbly made having a cast wreath terminal. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (16.3cm) long by 1 inch (2.3cm) wide and weighs 24 grams. A very nicely designed rare example.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
