Rare 1930s Silver Plated ‘Go to Bed’ Lamp Torch

1920 - 1940
Description

A rare 1930 battery operated ‘go to bed lamp’ with silver plated and wooden base, stamped EPNS, complete with original glass hurricane style shade. The bulb illuminates when the lamp is picked up or alternatively there is a switch to leave the bulb on constantly.

A wonderful 1930’s take on the 19th century chamberstick.

In excellent condition, light wear to the plating. In full working condition.

Sold with bulb and battery. We will also supply complimentary spare bulb and battery.

Dimensions: The base is 10.5 cm x 10.5 cm (excluding handle) and it is approximately 14 cm high.
