London 1897 Wonderful Solid Silver Heart Shaped Dish by Famous Maker William Comyns.

Description

Victorian English hallmarked solid silver London 1897 marked pretty heart shaped dish by very famous maker William Comyns.

The dish is decorated with an all over repousee design of masks and foliate and scroll motifs. It has a central convex blank cartouche and very clear hallmarks.

Size-approximately 4 inches long by 3.75 inches wide by 3/8 inches high.

Weight-45 grams.

This is a romantic gift that can be used on dressing table or desk to hold jewellery, trinkets, etc.

A lovely item in very good condition.
