Rare Victorian Sterling Silver Cushnie Family Crest Hip Spirit Flask 1899 Superb

Description

A superb rare and interesting Victorian sterling silver hip flask. It is hallmarked for London 1899 with the makers mark being those of Drew and Sons of Piccadilly Circus London. It has been beautifully made having a cut glass body and silver cup and cap engraved with the crest and motto of the Cushnie Family of Aberdeenshire. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.6cm) tall by 2.75 inches (7.5cms) wide and weighs 390 grams. A superbly made very high quality fascinating piece.

Note flasks which have not been used for a while or are new will require their cork wetting for a time so it swells again.
