Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Calling Card Case 1859 - Nellie

Description

This is a beautiful antique mid Victorian hallmarked solid sterling silver calling card case in very good condition with no damage at all.

It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1859 with the silversmiths mark for Hilliard & Thomason

It measures 3 1/2? (9 cms) x 2 3/4? (7 cms) which is just large enough to take a credit card.

It weighs 50 grams/1.6 troy oz and has a beautiful decoration of a fountain with birds sitting on it and on the other side has the name 'Nellie' engraved in the cartouche.

This super card case will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
