Grand Large Victorian Square Footed Salver / Tray C.1860

Description

A wonderful large square cocktail or drinks tray standing on four legs. The centre is engraved with the original family armorial crest; what appears to be a lions paw holding a spear; very regal.

The underside is fully marked on the underside for the quality silversmith, Hawksworth Eyre & Co. and EPNS (Electro_plated Nickel Silver). The trademark "Capital" is also present.

Just back from our silversmith's workshop, it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

Dating to the Victorian era, dating to c.1860, it remains in excellent condition measuring 13 3/4" square x 1 1/2" tall.
