Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver 'Lion' Caddy 1905

Description

This is a lovely antique Edwardian sterling silver caddy with hinged lid measuring 5? (13 cms) tall to the top of the finial x 3 3/4? (9.5 cms) x 3" (8 cms) and in excellent condition with no damage or repairs.

It’s hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the silversmiths mark for Jones & Crompton.

It’s has super decoration all round with the finial in the style of a rampant lion holding a shield.

There are no inscriptions or monograms and it weighs 168 grams/5.4 troy oz.

This lovely caddy will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
