Description

A lovely antique silver powder compact, beautifully engraved with swirls and flowers and has a vacant cartouche in the centre of the hinged lid. When opened the interior is revealed and here clear hallmarks are visible for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1916, Lion Passant and silver maker's mark: Adie & Lovekin Ltd. The interior also contains the original pretty power puff. There is also a clear mirror under the lid. A finger chain is attached.

Condition: A wonderful item, the silver is in super condition and the powder puff is beautifully clean and also in great condition. The mirror has no marks to the glass. The lid closes well with a nice click.

Measurements: Diameter width: 3.2 cm Depth: 7 mm Weight: 10.3 grams
